Details:
The Quest annual drag show is the largest institution-wide celebration of queer culture and art at Quest. The show seeks to create a vibrant and welcoming space for people of all identities and creeds to witness and partake in queer narratives through varying art forms. The show acts as a safe space for performers and audience-goers alike to explore gender and sexuality expression. This will be Quest University’s 4th annual drag show, making it a legacy event that is wholeheartedly centred on acceptance and advocacy for minority groups.
Audience members are welcome and encouraged to wear attire that makes them feel comfortable (if this means arriving in full drag, in PJs, or in your climbing gear…. we welcome it all!). The show will be a series of performances from Quest students and alumni, with multiple intermissions throughout where dancing, partying, and celebrating is encouraged! Bar services (beer, cider, wine) are available to legal adults with 2 pieces of ID throughout the show and intermission. Snacks and water will also be provided. Please note that outside food or drink will not be permitted inside the venue (personal reusable water bottles are allowed for water refill).
A few vendors will be present at the show, selling sex clothes, toys, lube, etc. Pride Squamish will be in attendace, as all proceeds made from this event will be dontaed to Pride Squamish!
Additionally, there will be a quiet space provided for individuals who may need some quiet. If there are other accessibility concerns, please email [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
